BC-1 Industrial Yellow Returns… Molding Mule’s Baby Carrier Droid Levels Up!
Updated: April 9, 2026

If you checked out my previous post HERE on the BC-1 Baby Carrier Droid, then you already know this thing is something special… and now Molding Mule is back with the Industrial Yellow (2nd Color) release that really pushes the design into that bold, utilitarian territory.

This colorway hits hard. The glossy industrial yellow shell gives the entire piece a more functional, almost construction-meets-sci-fi feel, while the darker mechanical joints and panel details really pop against it. It’s clean, but still packed with detail… especially when you start looking at the sculpt from all angles.

One of the standout features is still that front-facing canopy… a crystal-clear dome that showcases the tiny baby pilot inside. The expressions on the baby are subtle but full of personality, and with the canopy removable, you get the option to display it open or closed depending on your vibe. It’s little touches like that which make this piece feel more alive.

Flip it around and the back of the figure is just as impressive… loaded with mechanical sculpting, vents, ports, and layered panel work that give it that fully realized robotic feel. This isn’t just a front-facing display piece… it’s meant to be appreciated 360 degrees. Standing approximately 22cm tall (around 8.7”), this painted soft vinyl figure is made up of 15 parts and features articulation in the head, shoulders, hands, waist, along with full articulation for the baby’s head, arms, and legs. The robot’s eyes are finished with fluorescent paint, giving them that glow under black light… always a killer detail.

Priced at ¥30,000 (approximately $200 USD), the figure is available HERE via a first come, first served sale starting April 4, 2026 at 9:00 PM JST. Quantities match the event release, limited to one per customer, and international shipping is available. Orders are expected to ship about one week after payment confirmation. If you missed the first version… this is your shot. And honestly, this Industrial Yellow might be the one to grab.
