Gecco has announced a new statue from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Their new Raiden 1/6 Scale Statue is now available to pre-order. The statue stands at 12.6″ tall, and is cast in polystone. It includes two interchangeable portraits, one with the visor up and one with it lowered. For me, Astro Boy is a fragment of childhood memory. The distance between the futuristic world I once imagined and today’s AI-driven reality seems to have quietly collapsed. I chose to keep Astro Boy’s calm confidence — the quiet optimism I remember from the original animation. Even as the future keeps changing around us, I still believe there is space for imagination, hope, and new ways of becoming.
